Western Hills Homes designs layouts and floor plans for both commercial and residential projects using a state of the art CAD system which provides detailed 3D renderings.

We have many plans to choose from, in all price ranges and home styles. You can start the building process by modifying one of our plans to suit your needs or we can help you design your dream home, addition or remodeling project from concept to completion. We are here to guide you through every step of the building process.

Once it has been determined that the overall layout and total square footage meet your requirements, we will begin working with you on the details of the layout including windows, door styles, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, etc. Then we will take a virtual tour of the plan and make modifications as needed.

The next step to help you visualize your design is placing furniture to scale in 2-D & 3-D.  This allows you to see if the rooms are the right size for your furnishings and lifestyle.  We can also paint the rooms and look at different trim, flooring, cabinet, and countertop options.

Once you are happy with the inside details, we will review the 3-D exterior rendering and make changes as needed.

This process allows you to eliminate the guesswork by letting you see how your selections will look together before we begin the building process. Then we can fine tune your budget and make allowances with the confidence that the project will meet your desires and tastes.

During the design and budgeting process, we will also discuss additional building options and techniques to make your home as sustainable and green as you desire. Insulated concrete forms (ICF’s), geothermal HVAC, passive solar and active solar (photovoltaic roof panels) are options that we can include in the design and construction.
