The treatment on this window did not compliment the beautiful open space and cathedral ceilings of this living room. The single set of sliding glass doors looked outdated while the small window to the right adds nothing to a room that already has plenty of light.

By adding grills we were able to eliminate the need for any type of window treatment. The wall of french doors directly below, also with grills, is a perfect compliment. We opted to remove the small window on the right which gave the room more interior design options.
